Based on what you have read, what do you think the best course of action is for the state of Maine?
Based on what I've read, I think that Maine should allow a company to mine for gold, silver, and other deposits. This act provides jobs for many of those who have been struggling to find one. Despite the risk they are taking by doing this, there isn't really another option at the moment to consider, people need jobs to earn money now. However if doing this harms the water quality, this idea may not work out so well after all. Bald Mountain is said to the last relatively untouched place in the East, with a value beyond economic measure.
